Welcome to Spangler - The Band. If you're looking for a live covers band to play at your wedding, party, function or corporate event you've come to the right place!
Spangler have been filling dance-floors around the North East of England since 2002. We've played at most of the region's top wedding venues such as The Sage, Langley Castle, Beamish Hall, Durham Castle, Longhirst Hall and Ramside Hall. Most of our bookings are for private functions but we also have a regular showcase spot at one of Newcastle's top live music bars - Mr Lynch in Jesmond.

What we play
Spangler play covers of well-known rock, pop and soul songs, with an emphasis on filling the dance-floor and giving everybody a great time. From 60's classics by The Beatles to modern anthems by The Killers, we'll deliver a diverse set to please any audience. We don't just stick to one genre - all of the band members are expert musicians and can turn their hand to pretty much anything, so expect some musical surprises along the way!

Who books Spangler?
Anybody who wants their event to be one to remember - we turn a function into a party! We have played for all sorts of occasions at many types of venue over the years, so whether you're holding a wedding in an exclusive stately home, a student graduation ball in a castle or a birthday party in the town hall, give us a call! Previous corporate clients include British Airways and Newcastle City Council, while Newcastle and Durham universities are regular repeat customers.
Spangler can be hired as band-only at your own music events, or we can come complete with sound and lighting provided by our local hire partners. We don't compromise on our sound and always travel with a dedicated engineer to ensure the most professional performance.
